RoHS DIRECTIVE Due to environmental concerns, the European market has passed legislation that bans cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), this is the new Regulations of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). As well as Europe, China also requires RoHS compliance. It will be in effect in California as of January 2007, with legislation pending in 20+ other states. We wish to inform you that O.C.E. Electronics Limited makes every effort to meet your requirements in this regard. All items ordered to be RoHS compliant, and supplied by O.C.E. Electronics Limited, will meet the specific directives of RoHS and will be labeled “RoHS Compliant”.
